Hello ASE Families,

I’m thrilled to be starting my fifth year teaching art here at ASE! It’s a joy and privilege to help your students grow as creative thinkers and artists.

A little about me—I grew up in Florida and earned my undergraduate degree in Art from the University of North Florida. I then pursued graduate studies in Art History at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide!), eventually shifting my focus to complete a Master’s degree in Art Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. I’m currently in my second year of National Board Certification in Early to Middle Childhood Art, and I hope to become the first NBCT at ASE!

When I’m not in the art room, you might spot me running through the neighborhood or participating in local races around Houston. I’m especially excited for the 2026 Simon Spine 5K—last year we brought home the first-place trophy for the Fittest School Challenge, and I’d love to see even more families join in the fun this year!

This year in art, your students will explore a variety of mediums, techniques, and tools, while also diving into art history, artists, and global styles. I can’t wait to see their creativity shine!
