Mrs. Kimberly Taylor

Hi, my name is Kimberly Taylor. I am excited about being your child’s first grade math and science teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This will be my 18th year teaching at Settlers Way Elementary and beginning my 27th year of teaching at FBISD. My husband and I have two boys, Aiden and Mason. We are both from Michigan and really enjoy being here in Texas. I am excited about making this the best school year yet!

Education

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan. I attained my ESL certification and I completed my 60 hours of Texas Reading Academies, 30 hours of GT training through FBISD, and every year complete my 6 hours of GT updates.
