Ms. Ahmed was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. After spending her childhood in the East Coast, she moved to Sugar Land, Texas at the end of her high school career. She had the pleasure of attending Kempner High School during her senior year and is a proud FBISD graduate.

Ms. Ahmed graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a concentration in literature. She earned her teaching certification in the subjects of ELAR and ESL for grades 7 through 12 and is currently working on her M.Ed. in Administration and Supervision at the University of Houston.

She is the mother to a beautiful, kind, and incredibly intelligent 9-year-old boy who takes up all of her leisurely time.

This will be her 5th year teaching and her 1st at Hightower High School. Ms. Ahmed is extremely excited and honored to join the HHS family! Go Canes!
